Driven by the increasing number of motorcycles and heightened traffic safety awareness in Southeast Asia, exports of Chinese-made motorcycle front and rear bumpers have surged this year. Customs data shows that from January to October, total exports of Chinese-made motorcycle front and rear bumpers reached 80,000 sets, a year-on-year increase of 55%, with Southeast Asia accounting for over 60% of the market, with Thailand and Malaysia being the main export destinations. Thanks to their high cost-performance ratio and compatibility with multiple motorcycle models, Chinese-made bumpers have achieved a market share exceeding 30% in Southeast Asia. To suit the tropical climate of Southeast Asia, manufacturers have applied special treatments to the bumpers, using high-temperature resistant and UV-resistant coatings to prevent fading and aging caused by prolonged sun exposure. Simultaneously, to address the common cargo-carrying needs in the region, a reinforced rear bumper with a maximum load capacity of 50 kg has been launched. A company representative stated that an assembly plant has been established in Thailand, shortening the delivery cycle to 5 days, and the company expects annual exports to exceed 30 million yuan. Future plans include further expansion into the Indonesian and Vietnamese markets.
